Doors

I'm fascinated lately with doors. Wood doors, metal doors, painted doors and
wood doors. So many different types, kinds and colors, but they all do they
same thing: they open up a new season of life for us. It doesn't matter which
door you choose, the prettiest or the biggest; they both have the same purpose.

And inevitably, when one door closes, the next opens. You can't move to the
next season if the door behind you hasn't already closed.....just think of what
might sneak in.....!

I am seeing many doors in the life of my family right now. The closing doors
are hard to shut in some cases...others, close with ease. Some of the doors in
front of us hold unknowns, but all offer a new season to life; a new blessing.

I'm thankful for all of the doors in my life; even the ones that I didn't choose
to close. "All things work together for good to those who love the Lord..."
Romans 8:28. He makes ALL things work for GOOD. What an incredible promise to
be able to hold onto as doors are slamming or being left open for the cold to
blow inside.....All things...I'm grateful for the doors.
